This beautiful raised relief sterling silver design is a familiar one from the "Book of Kells". The zoomorphic disk measures 1" (25mm). Great for a wedding as gifts for the groomsmen.
This design features three running hounds interwoven in a Celtic "zoomorphic" pattern. Hounds were highly regarded by the Celtic people. In Celtic myth tales, hounds are emblematic of courage, extreme loyalty, and honor and were closely associated with healing.
