Bagpipe Scottish Pendant, Scotlands Instrument BPPS
This beautiful detailed set of Scottish bagpipes measure 7/8" wide by 7/8" high (22mm x 22mm) and is available of your choice of lead free pewter or sterling silver. The sterling silver includes an 18" sterling silver Italian box link chain (picture 1) and the pewter includes an 18" base metal curb link chain (picture 2).
The bagpipe is one of the most ancient instruments in the world. The origins of the bagpipe can be traced back to the most ancient civilizations. The bagpipe probably originated as a rustic instrument in many cultures because a herdsman had the necessary materials at hand: a goat or sheep skin and a reed pipe.
